Campaign Boasts More Than $2M COH and 58,000 Individual Donors

Lisbon, NY – Today, dairy farmer and small business owner Blake Gendebien announced his campaign to represent New York’s 21st Congressional District has raised more than $3 million in the first quarter of 2025. The groundbreaking haul is a testament to the grassroots enthusiasm behind Gendebien’s campaign, with over 58,000 unique donors chipping in an average contribution of $38.

Since launching his campaign on December 11, 2024, Gendebien has focused on lowering costs, securing the border and fixing our broken immigration system, uplifting small businesses, and ensuring access to affordable healthcare across the North Country.

“Career politicians in Washington and Albany – on both sides – have failed to deliver for North Country families,” said Blake Gendebien. “People are hurting, and we need a representative who understands the difficulties hardworking families and farmers are dealing with in the face of rising grocery bills. Our campaign’s momentum is growing everyday thanks to our coalition of grassroots supporters who are ready for a farmer to cut through the chaos and get things done for the North Country.”

Gendebien’s formidable campaign forced President Trump last week to withdraw Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s nomination as Ambassador to the U.N., even after she had begun her farewell tour of the district. This reversal highlights the strength of Gendebien’s candidacy in the North Country.
