North Country Dairy Farmer Blake Gendebien, Democrat for NY-21, Raises More Than $600,000 in Q1

Gendebien Has Nearly $2.5M COH, 75,000 unique donors

LISBON, N.Y. — Today, dairy farmer and small business owner Blake Gendebien announced his campaign to represent New York’s 21st Congressional District raised more than $600,000 in the first quarter of 2026, bringing his total cash-on-hand to nearly $2.5 million and total raised to nearly $5 million. This haul alone includes more than 10,000 donors – including more than 6,000 new donors – with an average contribution of $44.26.

Gendebien has dominated the Democratic primary race for NY-21 with a campaign focused on lowering costs, securing the border and fixing our broken immigration system, and protecting rural healthcare across the North Country. Last month, he submitted 4,780 ballot signatures from voters throughout the district.

“North Country families are getting squeezed from every direction, from the gas pump and grocery store to the doctor’s office,” said Blake Gendebien. “More than 75,000 people have invested in our campaign because they’re hungry for real solutions to these problems, not more partisan politics. I’m excited to keep traveling to every corner of this district, hearing about the issues directly from voters, and sharing my plans to fix what’s broken in Washington and actually deliver for the North Country.”

Between now and November, Gendebien will continue traveling across the district to meet voters where they are. Last week, he held a bipartisan roundtable with farmers, small business owners, and community leaders from the St. Lawrence Valley to discuss rising costs and how to confront the affordability crisis head-on.
